March always brings the anticipation of spring, and after the ridiculous (long) winter we had in New England, spring can not get here quickly enough. I've been browsing some of the spring offerings on some of my favorite online shops and I've actually found myself more inspired by their page designs and advertisements than the actual clothes for sale (which is good for my wallet, for sure)!
I love everything about the color palette and design of the current home page feature on the Calypso St. Barth website:
The fonts and soft florals on Bluefly's homepage had me at "hello" :
And I am a big fan of the muted palette of green and aqua tones in the photo on the cover of the March catalog from Anthropologie (who never disappoint when it comes to spring inspiration!):
Wedding season is officially here! And with it, less time for blogging... :(
Balancing a very full work schedule with the schedule of a 3-month-old is certainly a new (mostly fun, sometimes stressful!) experience.

This photo of a gorgeous blooming tree, courtesy of Geninne's Art Blog (a personal favorite), makes me feel very happy and springy! Not only is the tree itself beautiful, but it's set against a backdrop of an unusual color palette.
Terracotta, soft purple, pale gray and bright spring green... what an unexpected palette of colors that really work together beautifully!

Bride-to-be Monica contacted us looking for invitations with a whimsical Parisian flair in a palette reminiscent of a box of the famous Ladurée macaroons. Her main inspiration for her wedding plans has been a beautifully crafted color board from 100 Layer Cake. Here's a quick taste of the candy-colored confections that we created for her May wedding with those inspirations in mind...

It's been a while since I've created an invitation design that didn't have a client's specifications in mind. I was up {way, way too} early this morning with my daughter, feeling very inspired by the arrival of spring this weekend and this amazing photo - taken by Troy House and styled to perfection by Shana Faust - and an invitation design was born...
I kind of love this design. Can I get married (to my husband, of course) again please?
Thanks to the geniuses over at Design*Sponge, I am likely going to be spending my weekend in a coma from inspiration overload after browsing the New York Public Library's digital gallery.
My favorite inspirational images so far? The fabulous song sheet covers! I've officially died and gone to vintage typography heaven...
